The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassador Club joined Kristie and Jerry Carmichael, owners of That Hipster Place, to celebrate the business moving to its new, larger location at 1519 Main in Great Bend with a ribbon cutting Thursday morning. After three years at their previous location, the Carmichaels moved That Hipster Place downtown on Main Street.
That Hipster Place is a home and gift store specializing in edgy and humorous attire aimed at the young at heart. It serves customers all around the world, including a unique selection for locals.
That Hipster Place also maintains an online shop for those outside the area or curious locals.
Visit the new store at 1519 Main, their website at www.thpgifts.com, their Facebook page @That.Hipster.Place, and their ETSY page. That Hipster Place has new merchandise that is headlining at the new location, so there’s more than just a different location in store for the community.
