So often the success or failure of an endeavor lies in the belief, investment and hard work of those involved. But there’s also an ingredient that’s so instrumental – and that’s called support.

Central Plains High School FFA was privileged to have all four in place this past year. One absolute learned along the way is to never forget those who helped get you there.

Advisor Wayne DeWerff, who started an Ag.-FFA program at Chase High School in 2021 before coming over to Central Plains, got the opportunity to work with Caleb Schultz at American Family Insurance in Ellinwood. He was grateful of what American Family Insurance was able to do then and now has stepped up again by sponsoring another round of FFA T-shirts to a chapter of 43 members.

Recognizing that support, Central Plains FFA bestowed the Honorary Chapter FFA Degree to Schultz’s American Family agency where he and Darlene Demel team together to serve insurance needs.
