Kansas Board of Accountancy announces successful CPA examination candidate

The Kansas Board of Accountancy has announced that Austin Coyan, Great Bend, successfully passed the computerized examination in the January/February exam window.
As of May, 12,207 individuals have been issued CPA certificates, of which 4,503 hold active permits to practice.
Passage of the national examination is the first step to becoming a certified public accountant. To be eligible to receive a permit to practice, an experience requirement must first be met.
