On July 23, the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the Kansas Trophy Experience. Just outside of Great Bend, it features an eight-bed, 4.5-bath vacation rental. On-site is 20 acres with a fishing pond and plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities from the covered patio. It is a short drive to Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife Area.
