On March 17 the Cobra Kai Martial Arts Center promoted five junior students and eight adults at their normal scheduled Tuesday night meeting. Belts were awarded by Sensei Ben Shumate and Sempi Doug Parks.
Juniors promoted were, Logan Vanriper-Yellow Belt, Blaine Leon-Yellow Belt, Thain Bowman-Yellow Belt, Jakeb Cauthon-Yellow Strip
Adults promoted were,Each student was tested on etiquette, exercise, rolls, kata, control techniques and Shorin-Ryu Knowledge of the art.
The Cobra Kai Martial Arts Center is located at 286 NW 2nd street in Great Bend. Karate meets on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:00 PM for Juniors and 7:00 PM for Adults.  Ju-Jitsu and MMA training meets Monday and Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
Those interested in learning the Art of Shorin-Ryu Karate, Ju-Jitsu or MMA fighting techniques can receive training at the scheduled times for three free nights of training.
