Mike Smith, the nation’s leading weather expert, will speak at the American AgCredit Insurance Meeting on Wednesday at the Stone Ridge Country Club. Mike is the author of “WARNINGS: The True Story of How Science Tamed the Weather” (Greenleaf 2010), founder of WeatherData and is the Senior Vice President of AccuWeather. Mike holds the highest awards in meteorology from the American Meteorology Society along with earning 19 U.S. and foreign patents. Mike is a keynote speaker and has spoken all over the United States. His topic for the AgCredit Meeting will be the 2012 Spring and Summer Weather Outlook. Mike’s second book “When the Siren’s Were Silent” is due out May 1st.
