Area Director Shara Sevart announced the promotion of Chad Ingram as the new manager of the Hutchinson Social Security office.
“I am very pleased to have Chad as the manager in Hutchinson,” Sevart said. “Chad is well-known for his professionalism, integrity, and positive can-do attitude which will serve him well in his new position.”
Ingram received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business (Finance) from Emporia State University. He began his career with the agency as a Claims Representative in the Wichita field office and later worked for the Area II Director’s Office as both an Area Systems Coordinator and a Public Liaison Specialist. Chad participated in the Employee Development Program prior to joining the Wichita leadership team as an Operations Supervisor in 2006. He was promoted to the Assistant District Manager of the Hutchinson field office in January 2009. Chad is well known throughout the Regional Leadership Team in his capacity as the Lead Learning Coordinator in training new supervisors within the Kansas City Region.
The Hutchinson office serves seven counties in Central Kansas including Barton, Kingman, McPherson, Pratt, Reno, Rice, and Stafford. The Hutchinson office serves nearly 34,000 Social Security beneficiaries and over 5,000 Supplemental Security Income recipients.
