Tzoey Webb, 2nd grade, winning poster

Arelly Webb, a sixth grader, and Tzoey Webb, a second grader, both entered the poster contest held by the Barton County Conservation District, and Arelly won first and Tzoey won second place at the local level. This year’s theme was “Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities.”

Arelly and Tzoey are from rural Great Bend and are home schooled. Their parents are Tyler and Annette Webb of Great Bend.

Both posters were entered into the state poster contest held by the Kansas Association of Conservation Districts and competed in the corresponding grade divisions. Tzoey won an honorable mention in the state contest in the category for second and third graders.

Both of their posters will be on display and they will be recognized for their accomplishment at the Barton County Conservation District Annual Meeting scheduled for Saturday evening, Feb. 12, 2022, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Parish Center in Ellinwood.
