Perla Hernandez has been promoted to Compliance Officer according to Paul Snapp, president and CEO of First Kansas Bank.

“Perla has experience as a banker in addition to a strong accounting background,” Snapp said. “Her knowledge and credentials position her to provide leadership in the compliance function of our bank. We are excited to promote Perla in this important role.”

Hernandez was born and raised in Great Bend and graduated from Great Bend High School. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Columbia College in Columbia, Mo. She was admitted to Phi Theta Kappa academic honor society during college. Hernandez makes her home in Great Bend with her son Max and fiancé Miguel Poblano.
