LARNED — PVCH Foundation held its annual Associate Campaign to help raise money for the Foundation. The 120 employees of Pawnee Valley Community Hospital were given the opportunity to donate via payroll deduction to give back and advance health care in the community.
The theme this year was “Get your Game On.” The week started with a kickoff on Monday, Jeopardy on Tuesday, Minute to Win It on Thursday and ended with Family Feud. The event helped raised $4,200 and has a 38 percent payroll giving rate, compared to the national average 23 percent.
“Pawnee Valley Community Hospital staff is committed to help the Foundation succeed and their generosity is reflected by that,” said Julie Bugner-Smith, Foundation development coordinator.
The following associates volunteered their time to help with the campaign: Kortney Traylor, Kimi Bowman, Kathy Weaver, DeAnn Baker, John Wasinger, Katie Knieling and Karen McDade. Shawn Harding was master of ceremonies and the PVCH trustees Suzan Haynes, Kyle Beckwith and Meribeth Busenbark participated.
