SIKESTON, Mo. — River Bend has received the Excellence in Action award from NRC Health, which recognizes assisted living communities that achieve the highest overall resident satisfaction scores nationally. NRC is the largest source of senior-living satisfaction metrics in the United States. River Bend is an Americare Senior Living community in Great Bend.
To win the award, qualifying assisted living communities must have scored within the top 10 percent of qualified assisted living facilities nationally in response to the question, “Would you recommend River Bend as a place to live to your friends and family?”
“At the heart of every Americare community is a philosophy of person-centered care. This philosophy guides every decision we make,” said Pat Cokingtin, senior vice president at Americare Senior Living. “Person-centered care comes alive in our communities and truly makes a happier experience for our residents and their families. Recommendations to others from them is the highest compliment we can receive. Our team is truly honored.”
“The Excellence in Action award remains a true testament to the overall quality being provided in today’s long-term care and senior living organizations,” said Rich Kortum, director of Strategic Partnerships at NRC Health. “The recipients of this award continue to show the importance of focusing on what matters most to their residents and families. We are honored to partner with Americare.”
