Fellsburg native, Bill Roenbaugh, has joined the 10-member board of directors of American State Bank and Trust Company. American State has branches in Great Bend, Larned, St. John, Macksville and Garden City.
Roenbaugh is a lifetime resident of Edwards County and is involved in farming and ranching operations. He is 1971 graduate of Lewis High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in agronomy from Kansas State University in 1976. Roenbaugh has served on the advisory board of American State’s Larned branch for the past two years.
“I would hope that I would be able to bring another perspective to the bank board as a farmer and stockman with lifelong experience in both areas,” Roenbaugh said.
Don LacKamp, president and CEO of American State Bancshares, Inc. said, “We are extremely pleased to have Bill on our board. He brings tremendous experience and knowledge that will be invaluable to the bank’s future growth.”
Roenbaugh and his wife Shirley have been married for nearly 40 years, attend the Church of the Holy Nativity in Kinsley, and have two children.
