On Feb. 20th, K-State Research and Extension will be hosting a program by Wildlife Specialist Drew Ricketts starting at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Kansas Wetlands Center located in Cheyenne Bottoms at 592 NE K 156, Great Bend. During his program, he will discuss deer biology, helping people to better understand their space use, cover and nutritional requirements among other topics.
He will also discuss managing deer habitat and supplemental feeding. A light meal will be served and is sponsored by P & S Electric of Great Bend.
The same program will be held in Hays on Feb. 28th at the Ag Research Center, 1232 240th Ave in Hays beginning at 6:30 p.m.
