HAYS – The Small Business Development Center at Fort Hays State University will offer free tax services this month for small business owners.
Four different sessions will be held Wednesday, March 11, and Thursday, March 12, at FHSU’s Sternberg Museum of Natural History, 3000 Sternberg Drive, Hays. Breakfast will be served to participants in Wednesday’s morning session, and lunch will be provided for those staying for that afternoon’s workshop.
Carl York, a tax specialist with the Kansas Department of Revenue, and Brett Gerber, a state auditor with the Kansas Department of Labor, will conduct the workshops.
The SBDC at Fort Hays State, one of 12 regional centers of the Kansas SBDC, serves residents in 29 counties in northwest and north central Kansas.
