On Sept. 17 Max and Kathy Roberts will introduce a new concept for Great Bend and Central Kansas. The Roberts’ are introducing a new business to this area, a delivery business called Spirit Couriers LLC. Max Roberts explained, “We will carry anything from a single document to items weighing in at 30 lbs or so. Same-day service will be our speciality. We’ll deliver items from 8-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and a special rate will be charged for after hours and on weekends. A 60 mile radius of Great Bend will be served. In town prices will be $8 for a single item and a $1, one-way, per mile charge for out of town deliveries. Key is same day delivery.”
