Wornkey earns state honor Barton County Register of Deeds Pam Wornkey, shown Monday morning in her courthouse office, was named president of the Kansas Register of Deeds Association when the organization met Sept. 15 in Wichita. She will serve in this post for the remainder of 2016 and all of 2017. The organization is made up of registers of deeds from across the state, she said. I feel it is both an honor and a privilege to be able to serves the state association and Barton County.
