Barton County reported its 24th positive case of COVID-19 Wednesday afternoon. This was a woman from the City of Great Bend, County Public Information Officer Donna Zimmerman said. 

Of the 24 cases, the number remaining in isolation or quarantine was unavailable.

The breakdown of gender is as follows:

• Male - seven 

• Female - 17 

The breakdown of residence is as follows:

• Claflin - three

• Ellinwood - four

• Great Bend - 15

• Rural Great Bend - one

• Rural northeast corner of county - one

There have also been 254 quarantine/isolation orders issued. The number of those still active was also unavailable.
