Hoisington City Council members discuss vacancies on the council at Monday’s meeting.

Notices are being sent out to members of the Great Bend Coop and the Pawnee County Coop that annual meetings planned for later this month have been postponed.

“With our members’ best interests and health in mind, the Great Bend Co-op has decided to postpone our 61st Annual Meeting (originally set for March 30th) to a later date,” a notice on the organization’s facebook page states. “ The new date is yet to be determined. Patronage checks will still be mailed out on Monday, March 30. Thank you for understanding as we do our part to help keep our members and communities safe from the spread of Covid-19 as much as possible.”

Pawnee County Coop also announced their March 25 annual meeting has been postponed until a future as yet to be determined date.

Kim Barnes, the Co-op’s Chief Financial Officer said the meeting date and time would be announced in the local media once it is determined.
