Barton County Public Information Officer Donna Zimmerman announced Thursday afternoon that five additional positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. These involved three males and two females, all residing in Hoisington.
This brings the county total to 131 positive cases -- 61 males and 70 females. There have been 131 positive cases to date and 35 of those are active. There have been three deaths related to COVID-19.
The county has issued 1,206 quarantine or isolation orders and 247 of those are active.
