After a two-week surge of higher COVID-19 case numbers, Great Bend USD 428 started this week with less than half the active cases as the previous week. As of 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, there were 41 active cases. For the current school year, there have been 498 resolved cases.
The district posts a weekly summary on its website that showed 80 active positive cases for the week Jan. 17 and 119 cases on Jan. 24.
