Municipal Court sessions canceled

In order to protect both persons involved in Municipal Court and Court employees, the Great Bend Municipal Court has postponed all court sessions currently scheduled for March 23, March 26, March 30 and April 2. Persons with Court scheduled on those dates will be notified of the new appearance date by mail It is important that the Court has the correct mailing address for persons scheduled.  

The Court can be contacted at 620-793-4124.

At this time the court offices will remain open but will be subject to closure if circumstances dictate. Persons paying fines may do so between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Fines may also be paid at lock boxes located at the City Hall building at 1209 Williams or at the Front Door facility 1615 Tenth (located on the south side of the building near the drive through.”

Fine payments should be made by check or money order. Place the check or money order in an envelope with “Municipal Court” written on the outside.  Make sure to note the name of the person the fine is being paid for and either the case number or the ticket number.  

Payment may also be made by mail at PO Box 1168. Great Bend, Kansas.

The court offices will remain open so long as the city offices remain open. City officials ask that if a person is not feeling well that the not enter the court offices. They also ask that social distance be maintained when visiting the City offices.
