Number of active COVID-19 cases drops

The Barton County Health Department reported Friday, September 11, that 16 Great Bend residents and two rural Barton County residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since the last report on Tuesday. The 18 new cases were in eight males and 10 females.

To date, Barton County has had 347 positive cases, of which 78 remain active (down from 94 on Sept. 8). There have been five COVID-19 related deaths. The county has issued 2,439 quarantine or isolation orders, of which 557 remain active (down from 566 on Sept. 8).


The location by residence of positive cases, number of total cases, and number of currently active cases are:
