Updates now available at Barton County website
covid-19 Barton

Barton County reports two additional cases for a total of 14 positive confirmed cases of COVID-19.   Both cases are from the city of Great Bend.  This does not mean that unidentified cases do not exist elsewhere in the county and precautions should be taken by ALL residents of the county in all areas.

Please refer to the KDHE (Kansas Department of Health & Environment) website for additional information and statewide statistics at: http://www.kdheks.gov/

County officials continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate action, including the issuance of quarantine/isolation orders.

This is a very serious and sometimes deadly virus.  The public is strongly encouraged to take this pandemic seriously by practicing social distancing and staying home if at all possible.

All further updates will now be provided on the Barton County website.  You can access the information by visiting:      www.bartoncounty.org  and clicking the COVID-19 link in the upper left-hand corner of the home page.
