Two new positive COVID-19 cases were identified Sunday in Barton County, according to County Public Information Officer Donna Zimmerman. The cases involved two females who reside in Hoisington.
To date, there have been 116 positive cases – 54 males and 62 females – and 31 of those cases are active. The county has issued 1,102 quarantine or isolation orders and 254 of those are active. Three deaths have been attributed to COVID-19.

As of Monday, Kansas has had 28,876 positive cases, resulting in 1,782 hospitalizations and 365 deaths. There were 1,064 new cases and seven new deaths from Friday, July 31.
