The Great Bend Brit Spaugh Zoo will reopen to the public no earlier than Monday, May 18, Zoo Supervisor Ashely Burdick announced. The reopening will follow the governor's Ad Astra Plan guidelines. When the zoo does reopen, hours will be noon to 4 p.m. The Raptor Center, which includes the gift shop and information desk, will remain closed. People will enter through the gate located northeast of the Raptor Center.
No more than 30 people will be admitted to the zoo at one time. People will be required to maintain social distancing.
Restrooms and playground equipment will be closed.
