Alpha Kappa Gamma sorority met on Feb. 10. Connie Carlton was appointed acting secretary and yardstick chair for the remainder of the year. The social committee announced that a coffee was held on Jan. 21 at Scraps and the Valentine Sweetheart Dinner on Feb. 8 at the Reidener Inn honoring the 2020 Queen Glenna Melkus. 

Janet Skelton presented the program on “Valentine’s Day-meaning and traditions.”  A social hour followed. 

The next meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on March 9 in the home of Patty Smith. An election of officers will be held.
