William Wayne and Sue Ahrens of Ellinwood will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a Come and Go Reception from 2 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 17, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 701 N. Fritz in Ellinwood. Hosts for the event will be Jim and Judy Ahrens of Manhattan. No gifts are requested.
Sue Robbins and William Wayne Ahrens were united in marriage on Oct. 23, 1955, at the First Presbyterian Church in Great Bend. William has farmed in the Ellinwood area. Sue is a homemaker. The couple has five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
