Larry and Earlene Arnold

Larry and Earlene Arnold will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 2 at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas in Great Bend. Hosts for the event will be their children, Scott Arnold of Overland Park and Jolene and Philip Kirmer of Great Bend. The couple has three grandchildren, Kylene and Ken Baxa of Pikeville, Ky., Kevin Kirmer and Kelli Kirmer, both of Great Bend.
Earlene Meckfessel and Larry Arnold were united in marriage on Sept. 9, 1962 in Larned. Larry is retired from Central Power Systems as a diesel mechanic. Earlene is a housewife.
