Steve and Sandy Dayton will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house for family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 3, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Great Bend. Hosts for the event will be their children, Matt and Lara Dayton of Overland Park, Mark and Shane Dayton of Derby, and Scott and Melissa McNeill of Olathe. The couple also have eight grandchildren.
Steve and Sandy were united in marriage on Sept. 9, 1966, at the First Methodist Church in Fargo, Okla.
