Ora and Judy Folsom of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Jan. 19, with a card shower.
Judy Barragree and Ora Folsom were united in marriage on Jan. 19, 1967, in LaCrosse. Ora served in the Navy for one term. He worked as a carpenter, safety officer in the oil field and as a truck driver hauling liquid helium. He is retired. Judy was a beautician, employed at Walmart, and hauled liquid helium as Ora’s driving partner. She is currently employed by Elder Care as a caregiver. The couple has three daughters, Lori and John Vainer, Robin and Lee Bretz, and Dena Folsom; and six grandchildren.
