Virgil and Vinita Gatton of rural Stafford celebrated their 60th anniversary on May 25, 2018, with a family meal hosted by their children.
Vinita Nolte and Virgil Gatton were united in marriage on May 25, 1958, at Trinity United Church of Christ in Hudson. The couple have five children, (Lance) and Janna Raven of Nevada, Mo., Danny and (Mary) Gatton of rural Stafford, (Kenton) and Anita Sanko of Great Bend, (Terry) and Lisa Blide of Hays, and Todd and (Sheri) Gatton of rural Haviland; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
