Larry and Betty Green of Mesa, Ariz.  celebrated their 50th anniversary on Dec. 19 with a luncheon and reception at Down Under in Beloit. Hosts for the event were Darren Demel and Michelle Mueller of Wichita and Richard and LaVonne Reiser of San Antonio, Texas.
Larry Green and Betty Sorrell were united in marriage on Dec. 18, 1960 at the Christian Church in Elder. The couple has resided in Beloit and Great Bend. Larry was employed by Manweiler Chevrolet. Betty was employed by Fuller Brush. The couple has resided in Arizona for the past 11 years where they work at the “Market Place” in Mesa, Ariz. They also work in Cripple Creek, Colo. at the Hospitality House and RV Park. The couple has two deceased children, Chris and Cindy Green.
