Howard and Sharon Meyer of Aliceville will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at St. John Lutheran Church in Aliceville. Hosts for the event will be son Brian, his wife Erin, and their three children Minna, Frederich (Fritz) and August, who live near Louisburg; and daughter Rishelle, her husband Eric Greenlee and their two daughters Rain and Larkin, who live near Cosby, Mo.
Sharon Suchy and Howard Meyer were united in marriage on June 15, 1968, in Aliceville. Howard was an engineer at Wolf Creek Nuclear Generating Station near Burlington from 1985-2016 prior to his retirement. Sharon is a homemaker and cares for grandchildren while parents are working.
