Leon Anton and Judy Ann (Schremmer) Oberle

Leon Anton and Judy Ann (Schremmer) Oberle of Claflin celebrated their 50th anniversary this weekend with family and friends.
The couple was united in marriage on Oct. 2, 1965, at St. Johns Catholic Church in Hoisington. They are both retired. Leon spent many years as an oil field mechanic and most recently worked for Primus Sterilizer in Great Bend. He enjoys spending time in his garden and volunteering at the church. Judy was a long-time employee of USD 354. She enjoys quilting, scrapbooking and flower gardening. They both like attending their grandchildren’s activities. The couple has five children, Scott and Arlene Oberle of Greensburg, Beverly and Neil Frizell of Great Bend, Troy and Robin Oberle of De Soto, Amy and Nick Allen of Council Grove, and Bruce and Sara Oberle of Overland Park; and 13 grandchildren.
