Donnie Eugene and Eula Beth Paden will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. on June 20, at the Church of the Nazarene, 4811 Broadway in Great Bend. Hosts for the event will be their children, Kathy Covert of South Lyon, Mich., David Paden, Bill Paden, Edy Calvert and Shari Karst, all of Great Bend.
Eula Beth White and Donnie Eugene Paden were united in marriage on June 19, 1965, at the Crestview Christian Church in Manhattan. Residents of Great Bend the couple have resided in Manhattan, Jewel and Plainville. Don is a retired minister. Beth is employed by the Church of Nazarene as a part time secretary. The couple has five children, Kathy and husband Steve Covert of South Lyon, Mich., David Paden and his wife Amy, Bill Paden and his wife Anne, Edy Calvert and her husband Rick and Shari Karst and her husband Tim, all of Great Bend; 13 grandchildren, Ethan, Avery and Adam Covert of South Lyon, Mich., Mason Paden and fiance Hayley Ross, Daulton and Dylon Paden, Austin Young and fiance Amber Karst, Branden and Donovan Paden, Kyra and RJ Calvert, and Cody and Luke Karst, all of Great Bend; and two great-grandchildren, Easton Stevenson and Isom Paden. The couple is expecting another great-grandchild in December.
