Leo J. and Dorothy A. (Dreher) Schmidt celebrated their 65th anniversary on Jan. 13. Leo is retired from Smith Tool Company. The couple’s children are Dianna Koerner of Hays, George (Sallie) Schmidt of Fort Smith, Ark., Karen (Steve) Harper of Hutchinson, Michael (Debbie) Schmidt, of Greeley, Colo., Patricia Schartz of Great Bend and Joan (Jeff) Barrett of Wichita. They have 12 grandchildren, eight
great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
