Ronald and Peggy Soeken of Lorraine will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an Open House from 3 to 5 p.m. on Aug. 2 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Holyrood. Hosts for the event will be their children Kristin Webb of Wichita, Sandra Barton of Holyrood, and Joe and Cinda Lohmann of Farmington, Minn.  The couple has 7 grandchildren. The couple requests no gifts.
Peggy Olds and Ronald Soeken were united in marriage on Aug. 12, 1964, in Wilson. Ronald is a farmer. Peggy is a former nurse, avid quilter and a homemaker.
