Les and Mary Lou Stewart celebrated their 50th anniversary on Oct. 2 with an extended family dinner. Les Stewart and Mary Lou Schneweis were united in marriage on Oct. 1, 1960 in Beaver. The have lived their entire married life in Great Bend. Les is retired from Tretolite Chemical Company and is presently self-employed as Stew’s Fluid Levels. Mary Lou retired in 2003 after 43 years in nursing. Their children and grandchildren are Lisa and Bill Richardson and daughter, Shalane; Mona Schaffer and Bill Crusan and daughters Alexandria and Jaclyn  Schaffer; Julie and Nino Lipari and daughters Nicole, Mary and Josie; and Cindy and Jeff Damm and children Brad and Allison.
