Harold “Bud” and Lois Wolfe will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a Come and Go Reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 21, at the 1st Church of the Nazerene, 4811 Broadway Avenue in Great Bend. Hosts for the event will be Tina and Tom Curran.
Lois Bowman and Harold Wolfe were united in marriage on Nov. 20, 1965, in Galesburg. The couple resided in Ellinwood from 1965 to 1973, moving to Great Bend. Harold was employed by Barton Community College and the City of Great Bend until he retired in 1991. Lois was employed by Fuller Brush until she retired in 2000. She works part-time at North American Drilling/Youngs Auto Sales. The couple has two children, son, Timothy Wolfe of Larned and Tina Curran and husband Tom of Great Bend; and four granddaughters, Kyrie Bair of Lawrence, Logan Wolfe of Moran, Rosie Berger of Portland and Lakin Wolfe Pafford of Great Bend.
