Annual square dance lessons will start at 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 29 at the Great Bend Recreation Center, Burnside Room, 1214 Stone Street. The eight week class end on Nov. 18. Cost is $22 per person.
Men and women of all ages are welcome including high school and college students. The experience “caller”, Al Braun, is from Hays and has taught many classes at Fort Hays State University for one credit hour. He is a “caller in demand” for dancers all over Kansas and surrounding states.

Anyone interested in square dancing but does not know if they would like this type of activity, can come to the first lesson for a no obligation “trial run”. If interested, checks may be made payable to the Great Bend Recreation Commission. If not interest, there will be no charge for the first night, Friday, Sept. 29.
