Bill and Lila Berschauer will celebrate their 65th anniversary on Aug. 10 with a card shower. Their children and spouses are hosting a dinner for the couple on Aug. 12.

Lila Lee Hysell and Bill Berschauer were united in marriage on Aug. 10, 1958, in WaKeeney. Residents of Albert, Bill was an employee of Farmers Bank and Trust in Albert and Lila was an employee of Brown’s Shoe Fit. Their children are: Daughters Crystal and husband Jim and Denise Guthrie and husband Mark, both of Great Bend; sons Eric Berschauer and wife Jena and Shawn Berschauer, both of Wichita, and son Daren Berschauer of Austin, Texas. The couple has eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
