Beta Sigma Phi chapters got together for a salad supper hosted by Kansas Laureate Kappa. After each chapter had a short meeting, the meeting closed with the Closing Ritual and Mizpah.

Preceptor Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met on Sept. 3 at Cindy Meitler’s home with all members present. Janis Link shared some information that could be used for a program. Lois Johnson read about Beta Sigma Phi Rules and Regulations. Rosie Luthi presented Janis Link with last year’s scrapbook of events while she was president. 

For service projects each member was asked to write down three charities to be beneficiaries of quarterly donations. The chapter will continue to bring fruit for the children’s backpacks. Karen Reif reported on the wedding in September; five members volunteered to help. Jeri Brozek invited members to a breakfast on Sept. 21, at Perkins.

The next meeting will be at Janis Link’s home on Sept. 17.

Cindy Meitler gave a program on the different types of irises and presented each member three different irises to plant.
