The Bike Brew Q Craft Brew Expo will shift to a virtual format for 2020. The bike rides will still be held on July 25 including the first-ever Bike Brew Q Mountain Bike Race, sponsored by Golden Belt Bicycle.
Event Chair Ryan Fairchild said he is very hopeful that the event can be held in its traditional format next year.
“Due to the uncertain nature of the current health situation, we have decided to transition the in-person Bike Brew Q craft beer expo to a virtual event for 2020,” he said. “After much deliberation and work, the conclusion is that we cannot, in good conscience, gather so many people in one space without putting people at risk. This decision was very difficult for us to make as we know that this will hurt our ultimate goal of raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Bike Brew Q will refund all craft beer expo tickets and (will release) information on what a virtual Craft Beer Expo will look like in the coming weeks.”
Fairchild thanked supporting sponsors for sticking the event organizers during the transition.
