Aletha Loving will celebrate her 90th birthday with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m., on Saturday, June 18 at the New Jerusalem Church, 300 Sana Fe, in Pawnee Rock. Hosting the event will be her children and their spouses, Lola and Paul Todd of Broken Arrow, Okla., Marty and Karen Loving of Pawnee Rock, Patti Loving and Mike Bingham of Maize, and Anita and Randy Wilson of Larned. She has 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-granchildren
Aletha, was born on June 18, 1921 in Great Bend to Harry and Adeline Unruh. She married Jack Loving in 1947.He passed away in 1986. She retired from a full career of teaching including music at Shady Grove, kindergarten and music at  Pawnee Rock, and music at the Garfield school
