Charlie Brown and his wife Ruthie celebrated his 80th birthday on Dec. 17 with a reception and dinner at The Page Kansas Room hosted by his children, Bev, Barb, Cheryl and Char. Attending were his family, Bev and Brad Burnside, Hank and friend Elisabeth, Hayley, Jenny and Jim Dykes; Barb, Robbie, Tommy Frank, Samantha and Jose Soto; Cheryl and Mike Gage, Charlie and Andy; Char and Jim Lee, Morgan, Jimmy and Ricky; friends, Phil and Carol Woodmansee, Cal and Linnea Winter, Jim and Sharon Frank, John and Suzanne Schmidt, Steve and Marilyn Petty, Keith and Lu Adams, and Dale and Lenore Carpenter. Games and entertainment followed a meal.
