Dora Jean Gregory will celebrate her 80th birthday with a Come and Go reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on April 16, at the Great Bend Recreation Center, 1214 Stone Street. Hosts for the event will be her family, Douglas Hejny, Howard and Gina Cartmill, Daniel and Jenny Hejny, Robert Hejny and Christopher McEachern.
She was born on April 19, 1936, in Great Bend to George and Frances (Koelsch) Whitsel.
