Esther Cromwell  will celebrate her 85th birthday with a reception from 2:30 to 4 p.m. today at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hoisington. Hosts for the evening will be her daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Darrell Zigler, Connie and John Gilzinger and Barbara and David Janway.
Esther Cromwell was born on April 3, 1926 in Hoisington. Her husband Ira died in 1987.
