Garth Frydendall of Great Bend will celebrate his 80th birthday today.
Garth was born on Nov. 23, 1934, in Smith Center. In 2004, he retired from Great Bend Feeding, Inc. He and his wife JoAnn have two children, Debbie Evers (Daryl) and Brenda Axman (Paul); grandchildren, Derek and Heather Evers of Norman, Okla., Deren Evers of Oklahoma City, Okla., Dawna and Devin Konkel of Kansas City, Doug Axman of Hoisington; and a great-grandson, Harrison Evers of Norman, Okla.
