Joseph Wirtz will celebrate his 90th birthday with a celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 22 at St. Joseph Parish Center in Ellinwood. Hosts for the event will be his children, Judy and Rod Berger, Jayne Wirtz, Joleen Wirtz, Jon and Patty Wirtz, Juanita and Alan Landry, Jeff and Cindy Wirtz, Jeanette and Ted Trinka, and Jerry and Debbie Wirtz.
Joseph Wirtz was born on March 24, 1924, in Ellinwood. A resident of Barton County he was a farmer before retirement. His wife, Joyce Wirtz, died in 2000.
