Margaret Ann Ney of Hoisington will celebrate her 85th birthday on Aug. 9, with a family dinner.
Margaret was born on Aug. 10, 1930, at her homestead near Beaver. On April 11, 1950, she married Francis J. Ney. He died on Nov. 29, 2003. She has four children, John (Nickky) Ney of Great Bend, Mike Ney, Mary Lou (Richard ) Degenhardt and Bob (Hope) Ney, all of Hoisington; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
